Literature, art, or a simple stop sign—we are being spoon-fed at every waking hour. “But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.” (Matthew 15:18)

Take control of what you allow yourself to be spoon-fed.

Take control of what you allow into your heart.

“I am so thankful to Hope for introducing me to the practice of Qi Gong and offering her classes!
From the start, I began experiencing and enjoying the many benefits to overall health and well being that Qi Gong offers. More specifically, I've noticed an improvement in my posture, less tension in the neck and shoulders, increased sense of calmness and relaxation, and improved balance and flexibility.
Hope skillfully leads the class through a series of foundational Qi Gong skills and explains their origin and health benefits. The movements are gentle and well-suited for all ages and skill levels, including a beginner such as myself.
In addition to providing group sessions, Hope uses her knowledge and expertise to work with people's unique needs and goals, and she incorporates movements into her class instruction that address individuals on a genuine and personal level.
I appreciate Hope's ability to connect with others and share positive healing energy. Her teaching style makes learning this highly beneficial practice relaxing, fun, and informative.
If you have not already, I highly recommend joining Hope for Qi Gong class!”

Thoughts from our Qigong instructor

Christian Qigong

The root of Qigong is in Taoism. Can we practice Qigong without being in conflict with the teachings of Jesus Christ?

In Taoism, the Tao exists within all things visible and invisible. Thus, when cultivating qi, it is said to connect us with the Tao, becoming One with the Tao. For this reason, traditional and modern qigong practitioners will cultivate qi in order to co-create with the Tao.

In Christianity, God is separate from His creation, which are all things visible and invisible. When we cultivate qi, we do so in order to take good care of our body so that we can best serve God (not co-create).
